Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Turnly is entirely web-based. Customers point their standard phone camera at a QR code by your reception, and the tracker runs beautifully in Safari or Chrome without any installation footprint.
What prevents a user from joining 50 times?
Our Anti-Phantom engine combines device session fingerprinting with phone number uniqueness rules within the same active business day, automatically rejecting duplicates and queue spam.
What happens if a customer misses their call?
Staff can easily mark them 'No Show' which clears the active queue. The system optionally sends an expiration WhatsApp notice, and they must re-join or see staff to be reinstated.
Can I run multiple counters for the same queue?
Yes. Our backend utilizes transactional row-level PostgreSQL locking to ensure that if five iPads hit 'Call Next' at the exact same millisecond, they will each safely receive a unique ticket.
